After the subgrade is leveled and compacted, the geogrid shall be laid in time and positioned according to the design requirements, and the soil shall be filled and covered in time after anchoring, so as to shorten the exposure time as much as possible. If necessary, backfill can be done at the same time as the grid is laid to improve paving efficiency. In terms of specific operation, firstly, the filler is spread on both ends, and after fixing the grid, it is gradually advanced to the middle. During the rolling operation, follow the rolling sequence of the two sides first, then the middle. The pressing wheel cannot directly contact the grille, and cannot drive on the uncompacted reinforced body. During the layer-by-layer compaction, the thickness of each layer is controlled at 20-30 cm, and indicators such as compaction and flatness are checked in time to meet the design requirements.

During the subgrade filling construction, if loose filler is used, it will affect the subgrade sloping construction, cause land waste, increase the construction cost, and is not conducive to the later rolling operation. Laying Geogrid on the slope can improve the slope stability and achieve the compactness index; In the road reconstruction and expansion project, the application of geogrid can promote the close combination of old subgrade and new subgrade, improve the integrity of subgrade, ensure the uniform distribution of load and avoid the deformation caused by stress concentration.
